The 51st Maria Clara Ball, hosted by the Filipino Women's Civic Club Foundation (FWCCF), took place at the grand Coral Ballroom of the Hilton Hawaiian Village in Waikiki, Oahu, Hawaii. This annual event celebrates the rich tradition of the Philippine national costume, the Maria Clara, encouraging women to take pride in their cultural heritage by displaying them across the stage. The Maria Clara gown is a symbol of grace, strength, and dignity for Filipina women. Highlights of the evening included the presentation of awards: Gladys Menor was recognized as the Most Elegant FWCCF Member, Joe Quibuyen as Mister Barong, and Amelia Casamina Cabatu as Miss Maria Clara.
